***DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MONDAY 7 NOVEMBER AT 5PM***

The More Music Mentorship scheme 2022/23 is now open to applications from young musicians aged 21 to 30 who want to gain community music experience and skills to help them towards building careers as freelance music facilitators.

Two places are available on the mentorship and there is a bursary for £1000 for each successful applicant to cover expenses to participate in the scheme. The mentorship will begin in November 2022 and run until July 2023.

The More Music Mentorship combines shadowing sessions, training opportunities and the chance to support the delivery of sessions that take place as part of More Music’s in-house programme, which covers all ages and a range of musical genres and styles. Mentees will be expected to attend a minimum of 25 sessions and take part in four training sessions on musically inclusive practice, over the course of the scheme.

The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to Monday 7 November at 5pm.
