An Update From More Music
Posted by More Music on 03 April 2020
Further to our announcement on 17 March regarding COVID-19 and the suspension of our programme, we just wanted to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. It has been wonderful to keep connected via the internet and we are grateful for your positivity and enthusiasm. Whilst we have been active online during the past couple of weeks, the More Music team will be taking a break over the Easter holidays.
When we return, we will be working hard on launching our summer term of regular music sessions. ‘More Music at Home’ will run digitally from Monday 4 May until Friday 5 June, where participants will have the chance to get involved in our regular music sessions online including our young peoples programme plus Baybeat, Folk Group, Clapping Song, Bay Youth Voices, Long Walk Chinese Orchestra and LYVE.
We will also be exploring ways of communicating and delivering music with our Seagull Café and On the Beat participants who do not all have access to digital technology.
Full details will be confirmed after Easter.
We will check back in with you at the start of May. All ticket-holders have also now been contacted to organise refunds. If you have any enquiries please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you after the break.
Music and culture play a vital role in our lives and now more than ever, we need music and the arts to help lift our spirits and brighten our days. Here at More Music it is not just our job to ensure we keep music thriving in our community and beyond, it is our passion. The arts face an uncertain future, but your generosity during these difficult and unusual times helps ensure that we can keep making music and connecting with you. If possible, please donate to More Music by visiting www.moremusic.org.uk/support-us/make-a-donation-2/. A big thank-you for your support.
Take care, stay home and stay safe.
