COVID 19 Update Tuesday 17 March 2020

Posted by More Music on 17 March 2020

More Music statement updated Tuesday 17 March 2020 at 1pm:

In the light of the Government’s latest advice for people to avoid non-essential contact, we have taken the decision to suspend the More Music programme until Monday 20 April.

We will contact everyone who has booked a ticket or is due to attend a session or event to organise a refund. We thank you in advance for your patience with the processing of this at this exceptional time. We will be updating our status on our website and social media as to when we will re-open.

During this time, we will continue to support our staff, musicians and creative partners. We are working closely with our peers, stakeholders, Youth Music and Arts Council England to develop future plans. We aim to ensure the future of a thriving cultural sector in the Morecambe and Lancaster District.

Please email us on marketing@moremusic.org.uk if you have any questions, our staff will predominantly be working remotely and this email address will be checked during office hours.

“We are devastated to have to cancel sessions and gigs. Many of our participants rely on our work to keep them connected and for their well-being. However, we know the power of shared culture. We will emerge from this challenge ready to serve the diverse communities  that we work in, better than ever. There will be more music.”
