With Folk O’Lune, Lancaster Youth Folk Ensemble and The Chorley Cakes

Come and have a good old dance as three of Lancashire’s finest community folk groups share their music with us!  Suitable for all ages and abilities, a dance caller from each group will expertly lead you through the dances, with a real sense of fun, as the groups perform some of their best toe-tapping tunes.

More Music’s Folk O’Lune have been meeting in fun sessions for nearly 15 years, learning music, dances and songs from the four corners of the UK.

The Chorley Cakes celebrate the folk music and traditions of the British Isles and beyond through music making, ceilidhs, performances and community events.

Lancaster Youth Folk Ensemble welcomes young instrumentalists and singers to explore folk tunes from all over the UK with a focus on music from Lancashire.
