Campus in the City
Lancaster University brings its popular Campus in the City festival back to Morecambe this Easter holiday, offering a full day of free, hands-on activities for families. The event takes place on Friday 10 April, from 10.30am to 4pm at More Music in Morecambe.
Families can explore 16 different activities, all designed and delivered by Lancaster University researchers, and live music from Baybeat Streetband. Meet the people behind the work and dive into hands-on activities, games, experiments, virtual reality adventures, crafts and much more. Children and adults can try everything from meeting a humanoid robot to taking part in health themed activities at the Teddy Bear Hospital, collecting stickers, experiencing the Northern Lights through virtual reality or exploring Wordsworth’s Lake District in Minecraft.
All activities are free and suitable for a wide range of ages, with a few best suited to children aged seven and over. No need to book, just drop in at any time and stay as long as you like. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
