LIVE PERFORMERS
12noon – The Loyne, Bleasdale and Morecambe Road Special Schools
Our music leaders have been working with pupils at each school to create a wonderful collaborative piece themed on climate change that will take you on a musical journey.
12.40pm – More Music Hour
A showcase for our in-house projects featuring performances from Unique Beatz, Seagull Café, On The Beat, Bay Youth Voices, Sing It Out, Golden Geese and Highway Maintenance. There will be a special performance of a new song called ‘Tears of the Cryosphere’, a song written by young people from Sing It Out and Vocal Lab, inspired by a visit from Dr Diego Moral Pombo from Lancaster University, who shared his research conducted via satellites studying glaciers melting across the world and the impact this will have on sea levels internationally.
2pm – West End and Sandylands Primary Schools
We’ve been working with two classes from each school to write new songs about climate action and to compose new pieces to perform on the East Street Scrap Gamelan, a large percussion instrument created from repurposed scrap metal and plastic.
2.30pm – Kairos
Kairos are an eco-critical Lancastrian collective who bring together folk music, electronic beats, and the spoken word. They invite you to reflect on time, the environment, and climate change…..and seize the moment to come together as a community and make a difference!
3.10pm – Anne-Marie Sanderson
Anne-Marie Sanderson is a Cumbrian singer-songwriter whose music is at once earthy and airy, grounded yet ethereal. Drawing inspiration from nature, literature and her travels, Sanderson’s haunting melodies and poetic lyrics mesmerise and enchant, with transportive effects on listeners. Anne-Marie’s songs seek out glimmers of hope and create space for them to shine, and at Three Degrees Festival she will be playing a specially curated set of original songs with environmental themes.
3.50pm – Tilda Gebhardt
Lancaster born singer-songwriter Tilda Gebhardt delves into an intricate world of poetic storytelling and unexpected narratives, accompanied by meandering piano lines and cascading vocals. Her debut record, ‘Come the Afternoon’ is a collection cast in warm light; a bright and bold beginning in which origins and endings play together in an immersive meditation where we can all journey to find a piece of ourselves.
4.30pm – Greenhouse
An environmental punk band from Lancaster University, they write songs about climate change, pollution, anti-war messaging, environmental collapse

12noon – Mike the Mic
Mike the Mic combines many influences of 1930s popular dance song and ballad with interpretations honed to over many years as a professional Brighton based performer .
12.40pm – Tenderfoot Theatre
An interactive performance of Zoe Svedsen’s ‘Love Out of the Ruins’, performed by artists from Tenderfoot Theatre, a climate conscious theatre company based in Ormskirk.
1.20pm – How To Save The Amazon
Lancaster based musician Sian Phillips will share the story of her journalist brother Dom Phillips, who was tragically murdered by illegal fishermen in Brazil in 2022 while bravely researching his book ‘How To Save The Amazon’, which aims to raise awareness of the exploitation of the Amazon. Accompanied by Pete Moser, Sian will talk about Dom’s book and its themes, sharing its message and ideas through music and spoken word. Copies of the book will be available to buy, which was completed posthumously by Dom’s colleagues and friends.
1.50pm -On The Beat open mic
Boogie Bill will lead a special On The Beat sing along, our session for learning disabled and disabled adults, singing familiar songs from across the years.
2.20pm – Cacophony Arkestra
A vibrant and colourfully costumed community streetband from the Northwest, expect a fusion of Jazz tinged, punk fuelled Calypso, Soca original songs & tunes in Sensay costumes.
3.05pm – Seagulls Sing-a-long
Bill and Sian will lead a special outdoors Seagull Café, our regular session for over 60s featuring classic songs you know and love.
3.45pm – Tenderfoot Theatre community poetry
Hear the climate action themed poems written by the community over the course of the day with Tenderfoot Theatre’s resident poet.
4.30pm – Folk O’Lune
More Music’s resident community folk band will play traditional and original folk songs with their customary skill and verve
LOCALLY SOURCED FOOD
Wrap Ninjas
Gourmet wraps, packed full of tasty fillings, alongside their signature Rosemary Salted Fries. Their menu will include meat, veggie and vegan options. A local business with sustainable practice at its core.
Lancashire Youth Challenge Time To Breathe café
Locally grown food prepared and served by young people from Lancashire Youth Challenge’s Time To Breathe project.
Rainbow Frog Bakery
Local bakery selling cookie pie slices, cookies, tray bakes – brownies, rocky road etc, a gluten free bake and a vegan bake.
Global Village Café
The Global Village Café started in 2018 and is a non-profit making company run by volunteers. The café’s simple aim is to bring people together through food. All our chefs are refugees or asylum-seekers who want to share their culinary skills and traditions. Look out for their delicious Afghan boulani, a vegetarian shallow fried street food served with a yogurt chutney and crunchy salad
ACTIVITIES AND STALLS
Eden Project Morecambe
They’ll be showcasing some of the things they do as part of a collaboration between Eden Project Morecambe and The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery, showcasing some of the things you might find during our citizen science opportunities, how they use the 5 Ways to Wellbeing in their Nature Wellbeing sessions, and ways they are helping to improve sites for nature. You can also try your hand at identifying shark egg cases, get hands on with seashells, and create your own piece of rock art.
Food Futures
Explore some living compost and find the amazing creatures making this amazing material. See how different composts affect plant health. Pick up your latest issue of THRIVE, your new Little Book of Food and find out about Food Champions.
Go Velo
Come and chat all things cycling and sustainable transport with Go Velo. We are bringing a fabulous pedal powered smoothie bike and one of our mechanics will be checking your bikes over free. This is funded by Lancashire County Council.
Lancaster and Morecambe Makers
Weaving fabric using little looms that they’ve designed and made in Lancaster. Add to a 3 Degrees wall hanging on a larger, rigid heddle loom, using upcycled yarn from t-shirts. An opportunity to learn about and sign up for bayshare.uk, a library of things for the community.
Tenderfoot Theatre Creative Climate Cafe
Visit the poetry writing station and sound recording set up to write and record new poetry with Tenderfoot’s resident poets, which will performed on stage later in the day.

LIVE PERFORMANCES
12noon – East Street Gamelan workshop
Have a go at playing our scrap gamelan, a magnificent musical percussion installation that a group can play together at once to create beautiful and hypnotic rhythmic sounds.
12.40pm – Ludus Dance
We’re really pleased to welcome the young dancers from Ludus Dance again after their fantastic performance at Three Degrees last year. They have been working on a new piece inspired by the themes of the festival entitled “Change The World” and we can’t wait to see it!
1pm Mike The Mic
Mike the Mic combines many influences of 1930s popular dance song and ballad with interpretations honed to over many years as a professional Brighton based performer. His originality is not to be underestimated , this is not ‘retro’ but soul driven music.
1.40pm – Ludus Dance
A second chance to see the new performance by young dancers from Ludus Dance, created especially for the festival
2pm – Jubacana
A youth-led, fusion music and dance project based in Oldham for 8-18s, Jubacana is inspired by the music of Brazil and beyond. They make a massive sound with Brazilian percussion instruments, melodic guitars, bass, and drum kit thrown into the mix, all combined with vibrant dance choreographies. Jubacana is run by a team of inspiring young performers and music leaders who create their own original music and choreography.
2.30pm – Sandylands and West End Primary Schools
Following their performance at Curlew Cove, the pupil will accompany Baybeat Streetband in a parade to Octopus Garden to perform new music on the East Street Gamelan.
3pm – Folk O’Lune
Our in-house community folk band will perform traditional and new folky tunes
3.30pm- Baybeat Streetband
Our fantastic community streetband will play an energetic and vibrant set of upbeat music, combining danceable rhythms and horn powered melodies.
4pm – Jubacana
A second chance to see the incredible Jubacana live
4.30pm -East Street Gamelan workshop

Escape2Make
‘Hirameki, by artists Peng and Hu is a brainwave or flash of inspiration in Japanese where doodling and inspiration come together. Work with Rosie Tacon Glass to unlock your creativity using mixed media and reclaimed materials. Let your imagination run wild and make something cool to take home and leave a mark on a collaborative piece which will be displayed at More Music.

Interactive game around home energy costs and information and guidance around sustainable home energy, grants and support available for your home energy needs.
Screen-printing workshops
Screen-print the 3 Degrees logo or a new design created by local artist Molly Bland with Eco Collective onto a t-shirt or cotton bag, either donate money to take one of our sustainably sourced t-shirts or bring your own to add a bit of festival themed design flair.
Morecambe Bay Partnership
Explore the ancient method of creating rope by twisting and braiding plant fibres to create cordage for bracelets and bookmarks, create cool bubble art using plastic bottles and contribute to a nature collage by finding/foraging materials from around the festival site.
Good Things Collective
Make nature themed art with Morecambe based community artists and learn more about their fantastic work locally.
More Music Gallery
Assembly Arts exhibition – all day
Young photographers from Assembly Arts have created a new exhibition inspired by the themes of the festival, in response from a creative brief from our Eco Collective young producers.
Three Degrees High and Rising – all day
An exciting interactive sound and video installation that anyone can have a play with, created by sound artist Dave Shooter with young producer Liam Cook from Eco Collective. Using projections and Ableton music technology software and instruments, Dave and Liam have created a multimedia response to the research of Dr Diego Moral Pombo from Lancaster University, how has used satellites to track the shrinking glaciers across the world and document their impact on rising sea levels worldwide. Use music tech controllers to change the music and images in real time in response to video footage compiled from Diego’s research. If you love music tech or want to try it out, this is for you!
