More Music statement updated Monday 16 March 2020 at 2pm:
We take the health and safety of our participants, visitors and staff very seriously, and with the ongoing threat of coronavirus, we are implementing measures to help keep everyone safe and healthy.
We are acting in line with UK Government guidance and advice regarding COVID-19. We will review and update daily and post the update here.
When you visit More Music, you will notice additional signage to remind you to wash your hands regularly using the hand soap provided and we are providing additional cleaning of the building as well as additional soaps for personal use. If you notice soap or tissues missing in our toilets, please let a member of staff know.
We have taken the decision to cancel or postpone the following sessions where participants are particularly vulnerable, or events where we expect large audiences for the next 5 weeks (until 20 April).
· Seagull Café – cancelled
· On the Beat – cancelled
· Folk Group – cancelled
· Lancaster and District Schools Singing Festival (16-20 March) has been cancelled by the organisers
· Stages Live and Loud with Grace Monaco (27 March) will be postponed, new date to be confirmed
· Blowzabella (28 March) will not go ahead. We are in the process of organising an alternative date. We and will contact everyone who has booked tickets to advise them of a new date when we have it.
At the moment, all other sessions will continue for the remainder of the term.
