More Music are inviting applications for our Innovate Funding programme which supports innovative and inclusive projects for those working with young people in Lancashire.
Last year Charlie Nicholls was successful in his application for Innovate funding and he used it to make a music video of his song, “Someday”.
Do you have a great idea for working with young people 0-25 in Lancashire?
Do you have a great, inclusive, music project that needs a boost?
Do you want support developing your practice with young people?
We will be awarding two projects to cover a budget of up to £1000. More Music Innovate is open to individuals and grassroots organisations.
More Music Innovate can support:
– Projects by young people
– Projects working with young people
– Professional development for practitioners who work with young people.
Focusing on inclusion or engaging children and young people in challenging circumstances.
We’re interested in hearing a broad range of proposals, but in particular:
– Projects working with Lancashire’s diverse communities
– Addressing progression for young people 18-25
– Innovation in early years provision (for 0-5)
– Projects that engage young people in making decisions about their design and delivery
Funded activity must take place in Lancashire (including Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool). Mentoring and project support will be available from More Music as part of the Innovate programme.
Application Deadline – Wed 31 July, 5pm
Successful applicants informed by Friday 9 August
Projects completed and assessed between 1 September 2019 & 31 March 2020
