What inspired me musically: “At the age of 14, I was inspired to start writing poetry and saw how rappers and beatboxers used their own poetry for live performances.”
My major musical influences today are Bonobo, Skepta, Eminem and Thundercat
Ash can deliver workshops in beatboxing, songwriting and singing, rap and drumming (djembe and samba). In particular, he has worked extensively with young people in challenging circumstances, in pupil referral units and SEND schools.
