Based in London and Berlin, Let Spin are a cutting-edge post-jazz quartet who have been making waves in the UK and European jazz scenes since their formation in 2012. Their collaborative way of working includes an explosive mixture of stylistic influences whilst their focus on improvisation leads to incendiary live performances, allowing the music to venture into territories that are unforeseen even to the musicians themselves.

Following on from their critically-acclaimed 2022 release Thick As Thieves, the band will be releasing their fifth album I am Alien on Discus. I am Alien sees the band introduce an expansion of their sound worlds and explorations with the additions of Ruth Goller’s vocals and Chris Williams’ baritone saxophone and flute. I am Alien has taken the band’s interplay and fusing of composition and improvisation to a whole new level, with spectacular results.

Let Spin are More Music favourites, having delivered workshops and performed here many times. They even have a tune called MORECAMBE on their album ‘Steal the Light’
