Fantastic live performance videos from a singing day at Ridgewood School in Burnley on 8 February 2023 are now available online, featuring pupils from Ridgewood and Holly Grove School (also in Burnley).  The event was an opportunity for pupils with special educational needs to sing and beatbox together, accompanied by a backing band made up of teachers as well musicians from More Music and Lancashire Music Service. The performances were accompanied by sign language by Musical Hands. The event was organised by Chris Bridges at Ridgewood School.

The pupils also shared performance pieces they had been working on in school to show each other. The day started off with an introduction to beatboxing which also ended with some solo beatbox improvisation performances on the mic!  The videos are a great record of what the children performed which they can share with friends and family

The creation of the videos was funded by Lancashire Music Hub. The videos were filmed and edited by Rick Middleton at More Music.
