Yorkshire Silent Film Festival and More Music are looking for a diverse group of performing musicians to make ensembles to perform live film soundtracks at Morecambe Winter Gardens on Sun 6th Nov.

There will be 4 sessions with improvising pianist Jonny Best who will coach musicians in different techniques in responding to film.

Musicians should be available for two or three of the following sessions:

Sunday 9/10 | 3.30pm – 6.30pm

Wednesday 19/10 | 6pm – 9pm

Sunday 30/10 | 3.30 – 6.30pm

Saturday 5/11 | 3.30pm – 6.30pm

We will be working in small ensembles to improvise live soundtracks for a selection of short, silent films. Participants should have improvising experience, but no previous experience of working with film is required.
