Loose Articles – Kick Like A Girl Extra Time!
Rounding out a huge 2024 for the band following the release of their long-awaited debut album, Scream If You Wanna Go Faster, via Alcopop! Records, Manchester punks Loose Articles are delighted to announce news of their Arts Council England-funded Kick Like A Girl Extra Time! touring project for 2025.
Recently winning themselves coveted, high profile support slots with the likes of New Order, Foo Fighters, The Lovely Eggs, and Gang of Four, the quartet are proudly presenting an alternative touring model with their own run of headline dates this year.
Giving inclusive, intimate access and entry-level insights into the music industry, whilst supporting grassroots venues and northern creatives, the band invite you to join them on their musical journey. They will be sharing the secrets of what it’s really like to be in their shoes, and a part of the Loose Articles touring team, which includes female booking agents, crew, promoter, and management.
For their Morecambe gig, Loose Articles are partnering with More Music on our free Girls Can weekend on 8 and 9 March, aimed at young women and non-binary people aged 14-25. Girls Can provides a supportive environment for young women and non-binary people to form bands, develop as artists, network, build skills in sound, lighting and studio engineering as well as develop confidence and music industry knowledge. Book your free place here.
