King Creosote at The Hall
King Creosote makes a special visit to Lancaster to play The Hall.
Setting out on the road this Spring 2019, King Creosote is playing a small run of super intimate shows. Kenny will be playing two sets at each show – dipping into his 40 album back catalogue.
Kenny Anderson, known primarily by his stage name King Creosote, is an independent singer-songwriter from Fife, Scotland. To date, Anderson has released over forty albums, with his latest, Astronaut Meets Appleman, released in 2016.
Anderson is also a member of Scottish-Canadian band The Burns Unit. In 2011, Anderson’s collaborative album with Jon Hopkins, Diamond Mine, was nominated for the Mercury Prize and the Scottish Album of the Year Award.
With a newly released LP, Astronaut Meets Appleman, and after the stellar success of his heavenly soundtrack, From Scotland With Love – the East Neuk (via space) cowboy touches down with accordions blazing, freewheeling stealth curveballs, and a wry commercial disregard.
