It Won’t be Long Now
Telling the story of a prisoner of war camp in Hong Kong during the Japanese occupation in the second world war, ‘It Won’t Be Long Now’ has been produced by More Music’s Hong Kong partners – the Centre for Community Cultural Development. This show is only playing four venues in it’s UK tour.
The evening will start with a musical exploration of the 2014 Umbrella Movement and the recent extradition protests by Pete Moser and Gus Mok.
Pete has been working in Hong Kong for over 12 years and will share songs written by him and local HK musicians on the streets and barricades over the 3 months of the street occupation – 24 Hours of a Revolution.
Gus Mok is a cultural and political activist who is the CEO of More Music’s Hong Kong partners CCCD and recently was on hunger strike during the protests against the extradition bill.
