Anna Mudeka has dedicated a full life to music and dance from the sub Saharan cultures of Africa, with a main focus to Zimbabwean music especially of the Shona people.

She performs using traditional instruments including Mbira, Nyunga Nyunga, Hosho, Ngoma and Djembe. Her haunting vocals tell a story of a rich musical culture stretching thousands of years where singing and music is an expression and part of everyday life.
