Girls Can Artist Bootcamp
Calling aspiring vocalists, songwriters, musicians, producers and engineers
Empowering and inspiring young women to achieve their full potential, the second in our series of 3 Artist Bootcamps focuses on professional development as an artist, engineer & musician.
Girls Can supports young women to have the confidence to challenge stereotypes and feel positive about the future and the choices they make.
Join Sarah Angel, IORA and Harriet North, our brilliant resident artists, for an inspirational three-days. You will have the opportunity to nurture and develop your musical, technical and professional practice.
You will work alongside inspiring professional musicians, songwriters, producers and engineers to:
* Construct your ‘sound’ collaborating with musicians and producers
* Write and record your tracks
* Explore the process of releasing your music
* Master the art of rehearsal & performance preparation
* Develop your profile as an artist, technician & musician
* Develop your sound tech and lighting skills
By the end of the residency, you will have built an online profile and have taken part in the recording process. You will develop confidence in yourself and in your ability to work with others in a professional musical environment whilst gaining a valuable insight into different aspects of the music industry.
Workshops will run:
Fri 10th Dec: 5pm – 8pm
Sat 11th Dec: 10.30am – 5pm
